….I’ve gone through the quiz and submitted 3 photos…they were rejected which isn’t that unusual. Thing is, how do I re-submit without having to go through the whole tutorial again?

I like your photos, just want to say good luck with your submissions! You may want to try also 123rf.com, I work with them and even if sells are not as high as with SS (for example) I still get a payments now and then. I don’t think you need to wait! Just be sure that you aren’t duplicating shots from the same shoot in your inital submissions, and within your niche, select shots as different from each other as possible and go for it.

Hello Brian,
Congratulations on your acceptances! I have been thinking about trying to do stock photography for a long time and your blog has convinced me to dive in. I do not, however, have a broad range of photographic styles in my portfolio. Do you think I should wait and try my hand at new types of photography (I mostly shoot fashion and artifacts) before I start submitting? I noticed that a lot of the photographers I looked at on Shutterstock seem to specialize in one thing. Do you think specialization is something that should happen only after you’ve been accepted?
